Rapaki Marae day trip
Rāpaki Marae day trip.
This term, we went on a day trip to Rapaki Marae. When we arrived, we were welcomed onto the marae with a traditional pōwhiri. We sang E te Tau to the mana whenua of the marae.
During the trip, I learnt to find crabs. My favourite part about the marae visit was going to the beach because of the caves. The most challenging part of the day was the van because it was loud . Overall, my experience was 3/10, I didn’t enjoy it that much.
